I figured going from one to another was like crossing states, some rules differences, but not too big of a deal. Regardless, we have 9 months to prepare, so it can all get figured out. I need to be there for a couple weeks if we go, my father grew up with stories of "the homeland" wink.png so I need to get loads of pictures from like 1/2 of Scotland and the entire west coast of England wink.png

I have 4 chickens, I mean 12, OK fine - 20 wait 35 +/- depending on the season. Working toward a smallish coronation orpington with my small flock.

I also have Cayuga ducks

Hi, Bantam lav orps are being worked on but only by three in the US that I know of, one of them being me. I also have several other color project bantam orps and one of them being colombian. I am not too far from you in NC. You are welcome to check out my site: www.boutthymefarm.com smile.png

Andy Anderson has some very nice Colombian Wyandottes. Until some Colombian Orpingtons become available, I would suggest you start with Colombian Wyandottes. Andy's information is located at http://www.backyardchickens.com/t/533858/who-has-bought-andy-anderson-hatching-eggs

Here are photos from Cackle Hatchery's website. http://www.cacklehatchery.com/page41.html

I will be on/off BYC. If we owe you hatching eggs, please forward us the listing information. We are almost caught up on them and do not wish to miss anyone. Geese are now laying!
