Thanks guys!  Not that I'm happy for a male, but he has a home with us at least until we have to fight any township people!!  HA!  We fed them a worm today....omg...how funny as they attacked it and the winner tried to hide until someone else stole it from that one.  Will find more for them...it's raining so the wormies should all be coming out soon!

Sorry I just saw this post now!  :)  Yes, he's a roo alright!  Started crowing at about 10 weeks.  He is now about 22 weeks and is enjoying his harem.  He's a stinker and keeps coming at my husband and I, but he's been good with the kids and actually is courting my daughter.  :)  I enjoy hearing him....even at 5am.  The coop is right outside my bedroom window! hahaha  He's beautiful.  I have 1 barred rock laying for the last 2 weeks and the other barred rock just started Saturday.  Waiting for my 2 EE's and the Welsummer pullet to start!  Exciting stuff!
