Chick Field Trip!

Just took our chicks out for a field trip while we upgraded their brooder!  It was the first warm enough day so far this spring.  They had a grand time, and hunted bugs like crazy things, but there seemed to be a lot of sneezing.  Is this normal?  Do my chickens have allergies?

Sounds like it was fun. Did you get pics?

Awesome stuff! Sneezing is pretty normal if the chicks are somewhere it's dusty. smile.png As long as nothing dodgy's coming out with the sneezes, they are fine. big_smile.png

Apyl; sadly no... we tried, but I forgot to bring my camera into the pen, and my partner in chicken crime found that his camera focused on the half-inch mesh rather than on the birds.  Not room enough for us both in there, really.

Fierlin; good to know!  I was a little concerned but figured it was their first time outside so they're having more exposure to particulates like pollen, etc. for the first time ever.  There was some clear fluid expelled, but nothing cloudy or colored.  Thank you for your response.
