 It's always sad to loose a BYCer, and even sadder when it's one like Burt. You never heard him complain; I never knew about his cancer until Em mentioned it. Here's hoping that Heaven has lots of cornbread and redheads.

 His posts were so much fun to read. I never knew him well, but I know that if I had, I'd be even more teary than I am right now. He was always ready to make a joke, usually at Em's expense, but we all knew he was just being himself when he turned something around to poke fun at himself or us.

 He will be missed. I remember reading one of his posts the other day and thinking how much I'd miss them... Wish I could go back.

Some of my favorite threads are with Burt teasing me. He's had me in tears from laughing. It's rare to find someone with a sense of humor like Burt. He was a wonderful friend, a wonderful person, and an inspiration to everyone he met. I know I'll never forget him, or some of the things he told me.
