Sorry for your loss.

Married to the old dude, 0 human kids, 2 horses, 10 cockatiels, 2 parakeets, 1 sun conure, 1 amazon parrot,  1 eccentric peacock, 1 gsd, 1 pet terrapin, 1 Blue Copper Maran rooster, and 14 world famous Jersey Giants!

I'm so sorry. hugs.gif We just lost our favorite rooster named Kid Rock last week. He was so sweet and beautiful. Your lucky you had Amigo for five years, we only had Kid Rock for 11 months. How did ants kill him?

NPIP Certified-115 Chickens (50 chicks), 13 Geese (12 gosling), 19 BR Turkeys (5 poults), 7 Rabbits, 60 Muscovy Duck, 29 Guineas (15 keets), 9 Peafowl, 8 Sheep, 1 Goat and pea, turkey and guinea eggs cooking in the incubator.

Oh, no, not your handsome barred rooster! I'm so sorry, Symphony! At least you had him for a long time. I know how you feel, having lost Hawkeye, then later and most recently, his son, Zane. That old adage "Better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all" is really true with chickens.
