Hi everyone!

Hello,

My name is Angelica and I live in south central Virginia. I became the proud mommy of 24 chicks and 2 Golden bronze poults at the beginning of April. My flock includes 4 each: Rhode Island Reds, Easter Eggers, Silver- laced Wyandottes, Black Astrolorps, White Leghorns, and Tetra links. I had origionally wanted 12, but my sister was like, "Hey! Can I get some too and just leave them with yours? And then the son was like, "Let's get a turkey, dad had one when he was growing up." And of course, sister was like, I'll get one for my son too and that way they'll have someone to hang out with." So...thats how I have so many....lol

But I LOVE watching them. I can sit for hours. I can't believe how much they've grown! I currently have them in a 10x10x4 kennel, but I still bring them in at night. I've been using the info from this site so I figured I might as well join, for I do have several questions.

But that will be later, just wanted to say hello and let you know what I'm working with..lol.

Glad to meet everyone.

:D

Thank you everyone for the welcome. I'm hoping to post picks of my crew soon. We are currently in the process of building their permanent home, and have gotten some great ideas for their coop. I just loved looking on the site and figured I might as well join!

Happy Chickens to All!
