My Hennie Hen Went Broody...........

Thread Starter

Just barely 1 week and 4 days i got my Hennie and I have a broody already with 15 eggs,   I have 6 hens with this lovely fellow and are laying every day.  I usually pick up the eggs in the evening and as I went to pick up the eggs today she went all fluffy on me with that unmistakeable "Dont mess with me!" sound they make.  I went ahead and turned all lights off and covered her with a towel in her nest and moved her out of the flock and put her somewhere else isolated from everybody else.  This is the proud Dad of chicks to come.,..
