 I do have a light in the coop I turn off when I go to bed. They want to hang out in the door if i forget to turn the light on for them. Mine fussed the first couple of nights the light went out. They will get used to the dark coop.

I'm not an expert,"ex" is a has been and a "spurt" is a drip under pressure!

night 2 lot better i had a girl scout meeting tonight so i got home about 8pm and went checked on babys they were asleep but on top of there nursery cage (worry about little bit she is one week younger then the rest i dont want her to get cool so i picked up each one gave kiss good night put in the nursery and they settled right down cuddled around little bit (like they know they need to keep her warm they have been really good at taking care of little sis) and went right back to sleep no crying not nothing they have there night light there good. I also think the fact i have my bed room window open so they still hear all the same sounds when they were in insdie helps. i my self have been out 3 times to check on them in last hour and half.idunno.gif I sit hear and a worse case come into my mind so i have to run out everything from a snake going to the cage to little bit coming out of nursery getting cold even though its still in the 80 right now.

My city farm:

4 Chickens 1 Buff Orpington Cheerio Rose, 2 Exchequer Leg Horn Lilly & Phoenix and 1 Amber star mix Little Bit.

3 rats Summer, Winter and Spring

3 Dogs: Lab Honey bear, Samoyed Duke, Pit mix Candii

3 cats: Snickers, Kit Kat, Zelda

1 desert turtle Harry

And a whole lot of fish in the fish tank
