I don't know.

Search for 'Corid Dosage'. It comes up with a ton of threads.  Should be fairly easy to find the info.

Good luck!

Will the Corid hurt them if they don't have it? My father says 'they look fine to me. Your guitar teacher said so too." I'm a little worried about using the Corid now, even though I'm the one who spends all of the time with the chickens. ._.

I got a picture of the droppings, and a few 10 second clips (can't upload longer ones) of her. She will extend her neck, but most of the time it's close to her body. First, the poo pic:

The clips are uploading, will post later.

The corid will not hurt them even if they don't have coccidiosis.  If they do, and you don't treat, it will kill them.  The one is exhibiting the signs of coccidiosis, the stance, etc.  If you wait to see the bloody poo or for them to look really sick, it may be too late.  Being prey animals, chickens can literally be dead on their feet and still run around.  It's not until they are really, really sick that they start showing symptoms.

Thanks. My parents say I'm freaking out over nothing. Am I? I'm gonna give a long, descriptive (not graphic, just a lot of non-gross details) post to make sure it's Cocci and that I'm not making my parents nuts for no reason. And to collect all the details into one spot. I know most of these I've stated, so...             Petrie, the one who is showing the symptoms, has her head tucked in and tail down, but not all the time. It's only when she stands still. She scratches and stuff, and walks with her head bobbing like chickens do. She walks normally, eats normally, but has light, runnyish poo. She never roosts. She drinks normally as well, and basks in the sun. Sometimes, she'll lay upside down on me and fall asleep. She is the sweetest little thing. Oh and her nostrils click. It sounds kind of like the clicking of a pen, only softer. And it's normally when she's about to peep or when she peeps. Thanks for reading again :P  Oh and here are the videos (ignore my random rambling... I do that.)   http://tinypic.com/r/202lg3/6         http://tinypic.com/r/wkiy5k/6       http://tinypic.com/r/166axpx/6

I don't think you're over reacting.  Here are the symptoms of Cocci along with a description of what it is http://ultimatefowl.atwiki.com/page/Coccidiosis.  It definitely sounds like the early symptoms to me.  Have you told your parents that if it is cocci all your chicks will die?  Like I stated before, cocci is not something to mess around with.   It is better to spend the money on the Corid and give them the dosage than have them all die and have to start over with a new batch of chicks.  Make sure your parents understand that this is serious.  Sounds like you are paying really good attention to your chicks and you know when one of them isn't quite right.  That's the kind of attention you have to be paying to catch an illness when it comes to chickens.  Like leadwolf said, chickens do not act sick unless they are really really sick.  You need to convince your parents before it's too late.

Good luck!

Thanks. I've tried to convince them, and I've read all the posts to them. My mom is under the impression that Milk Kefir will cure it *facepalm*. We are ordering Corid from Amazon though. Lily's tail, instead of being downish, was pointing straight down. All of their tails are up again, along with their necks normal. I'm hoping the Corid comes in soon enough, as I love my chicks. Also, we just got straw for them. Will they try to eat it? and if so, wil it be okay for them?
