Does it cause breathing issues in people ie dust?

I never had breathing issues from giving medicated feed, but I guess it's not a good idea to breathe in the dust anyway.

Medicated chick feed, typically, has amprollium, which is merely a blocker.   It assists the chick's immune system in not be overwhelmed by cocci. Read the label to see what your particular product uses.

Dust from any source can be difficult for those with breathing problems.  The chick's themselves give off a tremendous amount of feather dust and dander, plus they scratch up the wood chips which are a popular bedding.  This huge amount of dust coats everything in the brooding area, which is why we never, ever brood inside our home.
