Gender Identification

This morning I woke up to a "different" crowing following my normal rooster. I came outside and one of my Silkies was the culprit. Now I have questions about the other silkie we have. Is it a roo too?

that looks like a silkie mix from that pic :-/ cant tell gender without a comb shot and a side shot of its head
