I may be a new chicken mom, but isn't this Brown Leghorn a ROO??? - and how about my favorite...

I admit to being quite a novice at this chicken party -  my experience is about 4 weeks long -  but these two girls look like they may be guys.  You know the extra chick they send - I think it was from a different bin.  And the barred rock I bought at the feed store as a pullet, but that comb doesn't look like her sisters - any opinions greatfully accepted.

I agree.  The barred rock is, and the brown leghorn looks to me like one too, but I am a newbie.

Two roos. I'm not exactly an expert on these things (far from it), but from the things that I've read here over the years, they look like roos to me. smile.png

Definitely roos. Here's mine...I'm sad my "Scarlett" is now "Stew" hit.gif We're taking him back on Saturday and getting 2 more pullets.
