Saw some chickens i might buy-What are they??

I went out to a friends and he had 4 birds ive never seen before. He gave me 6 eggs form them. But i might go back and buy a Roo and hen. The thing is idk what they are. There bodies are White with black Polka Dots, Legs are blue, roosters have big Rose combs and hens have small rose combs. they have white earlobes. What cold they be?? they are Standard chickens. Eggs are medium size, White in color

Silver spangled Hamburgs????  Hard to tell without a pic.  I assume they had slighter builds rather than a heavy build like you would see on a Wyandotte or Rock....

Yes slighter built. I looked up that breed and they look just like thos. I really do think they are Hamburgs. Can You or anyone give me info on the breed? lol

Lol ok thanks. Ya they are Pretty!! These ones just hit a year old. and i really want them

I think they've been accurately identified from your description.

Hamburgs are a medium sized bird & are good layers ofmedium white eggs. As someone else said they do tend to be flighty but with some handling they should calm down rather quickly.

They are one of the most striking of all the domestic breeds of chickens. They are particularly attractive out on grass where their black & white colouration really stands out.

So, your friend had no idea what type of chickens he has and couldn't tell you?

he told me that his friend orderd a breeding pair from out of state and he bought some chicks from his friend. He told me that was a few years ago and he cant remember the name.
