Pattern is not Partridge, it is what allows colors like lacing to come into play, and differs a plain wildtype partridge from a true showable partridge. (the penciling/lacing)

 

Melanizers are what increase the amount of black in the feathers, they're what make normally brown or gold or white colorations have more black than usual, like your hen #3. (would normally be brown with bits of black)

Aww, I see.  Genetics, although fascinating to me and something I'd love to understand better, I am "genetically" challenged and a newby.
