My DH promised our son he'll make pancakes tonight. We're out off eggs. We've got more than 50 layers, we get 100's of eggs a week and we don't have 1 egg to make pancakes.

(I sold them all hide.gif)

I'm in trouble...

I can just imagine you waiting next to a nest box for the hen to lay an egg for the pancake meal.

I love pancakes, though I love waffles more.  One thing my family, and I'm sure many others do, is fry an egg up next to the pancakes.  Nothing I love more than an egg with runny yolk in the middle of my stack of pancakes.  The yolk mixes with the syrup and pancake.  Making me hungry just thinking about it.  I'd put the pancakes off one more day before I went to the grocery store, I'm sure you can muster up a good dinner.
