Me too, I have some really pretty Runners that need a good home too, where they'll have room to roam and not be food.

Thank you, I never imagined it, I didn't think they could mate because the drake is so much bigger and he has his own 3 Runner hens and a Khaki Campbell. They didn't even socialize, (it's a 200x250ft yard with a stock tank on each side, one zone for the Runners and one for the Calls), but apparently they did at least once because I went out in the yard one day and there was Holly with 7 tiny peanuts, all staring at me. I got them into their own yard right away so they would be safe. I moved the Runners to another area with the rest of the Runners so that no Call would be accidentally drowned from mating with a giant (to them) drake.

These are my Call/Runner babies at 6 weeks, in the pool with their Mom (small black and white). From the quacks I have 6 hens and one drake, YAY!!!. The drake is the one in the center with the freckle chest and the spot on the side of his head, he likes to whistle back and forth with me, he's so cute.

I love the fact that the mom is so much smaller than the babies. :)
