We have had our chickens now for 9 days.  Not only have the 3 hens produced over a dozen eggs, but the chicks are growing like weeds.  I had no idea that chickens would be so fun . My husband laughs, he now knows if he can not find me in the garden , then I am probably out at the chicken coop, spoiling the chickens with some greens from the garden. Next weekends project is to build the outside fence and run yard.  Then the girls can get outside safely.  I have a feeling chickens are going to be addicting. Thanks for all the welcomes.
