With Orpingtons its hard to tell......maybe in a few more weeks??  idunno.gif

It is hard to tell with orps. They are slow maturing compared to some breeds. I have 2 white orp hens I coulda swore were roos for the longest time.

Tropical Plant Freak with Marans: Bcm,wheaten,golden cuckoo, BBS, blue copper,barred blk tailed buff, blk tailed buff, blue/blk birchen. Lavender, white, buff, and black Orps, Silkies, Key West aka Gypsy chickens, Ameraucanas, Muscovies, Sebastapol Geese, Guineas,Gobblers, Parrots. Currently working on some exciting Key West and Marans projects. 

~Not selling eggs or chicks at this time~

Are you sure those are chocolates??????? Their feathers look pretty black in the pictures and the down on their heads is an odd color.

i hope so thats what they bought as, the photos may not show true colours they are a lot more brown than the photo shows

 

so do people think the combs and waffels are large at this age or is that normal for orps
