Have your hive site and hive all set up. Hopefully you have read everything yo can get your hands on about bee keeping. You will need to feed them until they become established. Over 60 years ago

I rode to the post office on my bike and picked up my first package of bees. Enjoy working with them. Read everything that you can and you will be properly prepared.
 
My husband wanted bee's also and he got them, thing is i am the one that ended up learning about them and carring for them, why didn't he just give them to me for my birthday or something. LOL '

Go join a website called beesource.com they are great in helping and sharing info.
