Farm Master Incubator

Hello,

I saw your post about having and willing to share instructions for the old Farm Master incubator on Backyardchickens.com in 2007.

Am sending this email hoping you are still online and a member and are still willing to share. I bought a Brower 600 egg incubator and have gone crazy looking for instructions online.

If you could help me out or lead me in the right direction I would be grateful. My 11 year old granddaughter bought some peafowl and has chickens too and we are trying to figure out how to get the incubator up and running with the right humidity and heat.

Hope all is well with you and yours.

Gratefully,

If you still have the manual for the super hatcher incubator I would greatly appreciate it. I found one of these in my great aunts basement and I would like to see if I can get it to work.

The old redwood Farm Master incubators are quite nice. They are a lot more hands on than say a Sportsman in that you will be manually turning the eggs at least 3X a day. The egg trays have a sliding bottom that turns the whole tray with one motion. The 600 egg rating is pretty optimistic. Standard chicken eggs will fit about 72 per tray. With its 6 trays it will actually hold more like 432 eggs. That's still a lot more than a Sportsman with optimal trays maxing out at about 270 eggs. Condition would affect the price I would pay. If it has been well cared for and looks like a piece of fine furniture $300 might not be too much, but if it is weathered and the finish is funky I'd offer a lot less. I have and use a 400 egg model myself. If you do go ahead and purchase this one, or even if you just want a copy of the instruction manual so you know and understand what you are looking at pm me with your email address and I'll get a copy on its way to you.

Hi there db, my husband just purchased a Farm Master incubator. He's currently working on the wiring and only has a partial set of schematics. If you have any information for the 228.9 model we would be ecstatic to receive an email from you! [email protected]
