All my hens are not laying how to tell

I. Have 11 hens ages between 1 and 2 years. Of the 11 hens. I receive 8. Eggs or so a day, no more than 8. So some are not laying correct? How do you tell which hens are laying, all the same kind rr and new hamphsherebreds
 
Hens, especially 2 yr olds, do not necessarily lay every day. It is very possible that all of your hens are laying. Aside from obvious signs such as bright red wattles and combs one can tell by checking the distance between the pelvic bones of the hen. Hens of that age generally have a 3 finger width between their pelvic bones. Younger hens might show a 2 or 2and a half finger width.
