It even got my eggs i put in on 6-3 which their was only 9 of them.

I just did a full candle cuz something was stinking tongue.png

Out of 383 I pulled 33 shipped eggs. I guess that is not bad it's only 10% but it seem like a lot of eggs when you have to toss them in the trash. roll.png

On a better note the eggs that are supposed to hatch this week 28/30 look great. The 2 were questionable.

And I have 13 lav amers they were hard to see into. So I won't know until they hatch.

I had some BBS amers all bad and some BBS polish all bad (not from BHep) hers are all good.

Hatching Next I have

BBS polish
Lav amers
SLP
Blue sizzles
MFD
Silkies

I think that's it.

Happy hatching

Sorry BIg Red, learning to hatch can be difficult. Once you learn your incubator and have a successful hatch you will love it

What incubator do you use? Have you searched out the thread devoted to that model? ALl of them have their quirks, and some have mroe quirks than others! LOL

I use an LG and when I have room I am able to use qt size jars of water to mitigate the ups and downs of temps. My own personal Henny penny that I made has 10 quarts of water as a heat sink. Need to get the temp setBEFORE putting in jars of warm water. ANd then get t his balanced before setting eggs.

Hope you will try again. Can you get local eggs, unshipped eggs to work with?

These hatched a day early, I figured they would.  I got two showgirls, one with a cute little bow tie, and a silkie. The Silkie is still working on waking up?  It's finally opened it's eyes this afternoon.  I am doing what I can for her. Here are pictures of my showgirls.  One didn't make it~I'm guessing past day two in lock down..  :(   So, three babies out of 4..hopefully!

them, but I am getting a kick out of them.  The buff is soo mine.  I have a white one

      outside, with a muff and a bow tie..pretty cute..to me.  :))

OMG...I am soooo in love with those showgirls!  They are adorable.

So as of right now I have four Cream Legbar girls.  There are still two eggs in there, but I can't see if they have pips..I don't think so.  :(  Once the last one is fluffed out I will move them to the brooder and clean up the shells and debris from the these four.  Then I should be able to get a good look at the last two eggs and see if they are quitters or late bloomers.  :)

Today is a gift that is why it is called the Present.

Legbars?  Were they hard to come by?  Post pictures when they fluff up.  Good luck on the others!  I want some legbars!
