How long before I should give up?

I have 2 emu eggs in the incubator, and I haven't heard any peeping or seen any wiggling from them at all.  They were due to hatch on the 15th.  How long should I wait before I crack em open and see what went wrong?

I don't know the answer to your question, but do find it interesting.  I tried to find something on the internet, but didn't come up with a definite answer.  I did however find this document, which I thought could be helpful in diagnosing what might have gone wrong.  Table 3 list several possible causes.  Table 1 shows the incubation time to hatch for Emu eggs, which I image you already know.  I would be interested in hearing about your outcome.  One day, I might try to do this myself.

Good luck and I hope someone can chime in with an answer for you.

At what temperature were they incubated?  Incubation temps play a major role in hatch date..

The incubator fluctuated quite a bit.  Couldn't get it to stay at one steady temp.  It was usually between 97 and 99 though.
