when do you put them in the incubator i have read:

1. let them sit for 24 hours

2. start them and turn twice

3. start them and wait 24 hours to turn then turn 3 times a day

which is right? i just got them in today

I hope someone can answer you.  I just got my hatching eggs in today too.  At the moment, they are sitting until tomorrow morning and I would love to know how often to turn them as well.  Wishing you the best of luck!  big_smile.png

We are a ranching family in the southeast Texas panhandle where we run a small commercial flock of hair sheep.  We have 10 Black Cochin bantams (3 frizzled), 5 Splash Cochin bantams, and one grumpy Black Silkie bantam hen.  Other critters on the outfit include 3 good using horses, 3 barn cats, a Cardigan Corgi, and my pet Boer/Spanish nanny goat.
