First Rooster attack - Page 2

I just had to agonize over this issue as well. I had a tolbunt GL cross roo that went nuts on me. I tried everything but nothing worked at all. I am thinking he was not quite right anyway. He would run around the yard like a sprayed roach..looking for something to jump on. I have grandkids and didn't want to breed that nuttiness so I finally had to take him out. I hated it, but the next day you could already tell the peace in the flock. He was so nuts I was reluctant to give him away. Not an easy decision but not one that I regret.

True, too true, aggression must be linked to a stupid gene. Why else would you attack someone holding a huge piece of firewood? Too stupid of a move to pass on.
