I just candled my one and only surviving egg, (I only set 4) and my question is, there is the cell at the top, but should there be a cell at the bottom? The middle is all dark and I think that is what it should be according to the sticky at the beginning of this forum, but there was a cell at the bottom as well. I didn't see any movement though. It is also a brown egg, (cuckoo maran), so I know it is harder to see them. Just want some confirmation this is a viable egg. The other 3 had not developed on the 7th day ! Thanks for your opinions! ![]()
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not into thine own understanding. Prov. 3:5 Our flock: speck. suss, br. leghorns, porcelain bantys, aracaunas, silver spangled hamburgs, buckeyes, blue andalusions, Egyptian fayoumis, French copper marans, cuckoo marans, freedom rangers! (Whew!)
