Well, Monday morning and no update from either MPC or the post office so I have no clue if mine are shipping this week or not. I can only hope the communication with this ship is better than last time. Actually I can deal with lousy communication as long as my babies don't take the "scenic" route this time (courtesy of the USPS) and I get another box of frozen corpses.
Does anyone know if the MPC system generates any kind of a notification of a yes or no? (only one I can remember from last time was a notice from the PO that the "package" was received at their facility). From then on it was PO "fairytales".
Go to mypetchicken.com and use their "Questions? Chat with us"-- its a blue bar that is at the bottom right of the screen that will pop up into a dialog box. Just have your order # handy because if you have to go to your mpc acct page you'll lose anything you've typed.
My original October order came with all the right communications- the 'flown the coop' email, shipping email- and took 2 days to get here.
My April order gave zero emails- no flown the coop email, no here's your shipping info-- so with no info by Tuesday morning, I used the website dialog box- because calls were backed up- and got the shipping info really quickly. Unpredictable, because the April batch got here overnight... About 10 minutes after I had the tracking info I got "THE" call from the post office-- fastest I've ever put a brooder together!!
Both times all chicks made it. First order was 10 standard, 2nd was 10 standard and one bantam.
