Anyone, Mille Fleurs in Large Fowl?

Does anyone know of anyone who is breeding Mille Fleurs in Large Fowl?

Cirque de Poulet - It's a chicken circus 'round here: Australorps, Giant Cochins, Welsummers, Ameraucanas, Buff Orpingtons, Marans, Salmon Faverolles and Silkies.

Aren't chickens GREAT!!! Who needs a TV when ya have chickens?
Life is too short to dance with a cranky rooster, gotta have a sweet boy!

I am not a breeder, just a country gal who loves the feather pattern.

I was hoping it went beyond the banties.

Mille Fleur is a colour pattern not a breed. There are people working on Mille Fleur Leghorn large fowl.

For a similar appearance (but a very different genetic make-up,) see the Speckled Sussex and birds like the Spangled Orloff, and the new Jubilee Orpingtons. These are various tri-color patterns, but based on mahogany instead of the buff of the Mille Fleur. There are other subtle differences, but IMO the general effect is very similar and attractive.

Still in the frozen white north. As far as I can tell, "Winter is coming" is old news.

Thank you Rachel, lovely ideas. When we first started with chickens we were given 2 Speckled Sussex hens. They were lovely and very sweet to us but a bit bossy to the other chickens. :-) I loved their coloring. And the Orloff, I was just looking at them recently too.

Thanks for your ideas.
