New from Denver, CO

Hi everyone!

I have been stalking this site for a while but I am now officially a proud owner of chicks so I thought I would say hello!  I am adopting chicks from our classroom.  They are a mixed assortment and I can't wait to see what they turn out to be, of course I hope that they will all be girls!  We will be building a coop soon, looking at building the Garden Coop but will start with the Garden Ark to get the chicks outside when they are ready.  Looking forward to meeting other newbies and veterans!

Emily

My urban farm animals(the list keeps growing): two Jack Russells (Batman and Peanut), a Dalmatian (Ty), a White Easter Egger (Luna), a Buff Orpington (Ginger), a Blue Wyandotte (Hazy), a Java (Dottie), an Easter Egger (Ana), a Backyard Special (Weeble), a Cuckoo Maran (Coco), a Buff Brahma (Queenie), a Partridge Rock (Shirley), a French Angora rabbit (Benjamin Bunny), and two Pygora goats...

Hey, I'm gonna build a coop in Breckenridge, still trying to figure out raising chickens at 10,000 ft. I would like to give them as much freedom as possible but not sure how up here.Haven't seen a coop in real life yet even.Should be fun. :-)
