My hatchery stock salmon faverolles pullet is very light colored...no black on her to speak of.

I might be. I've seen some real dark hatchery Salmon Fav. pullets.

That looks like a cockerel to me. Salmon and Wheaten pullets should have a creamy colored breast, not black.

Is the glare just hiding the muffs/beard, or is it clean faced? Are the legs feathered and five toed?

Well, the kittens aren't so cute anymore and the easter egger cockerels are in the freezer. Plus, I think offering them as "prizes" scared folks off! So, I'm still posting quotes, if you know it let me know. I'm very enamored of this new one, it may hang around for a while!

How old is this chick?

I had this question too, about a year ago... everyone voted roo and "Charlie" just hatched out 3 chicks last week. That said, the way the feathers look to be coming in is a pattern I have seen on all of my chicks that have turned out to be roosters.

Here is the link to my post from last year...

I have one indentical to yours and she is 7 weeks, I think it's a hen just a bad coloring from the hatchery, more of a mahogony color rather than Salmon.
