What to expect from a crowing hen

I found a little polish hen on petfinder but it says she crows and I live in town. It sounds like she is by herself, does this ever stop once they are around other hens? Or would it get even worse?

How often do they crow and how loud is it?

I would LOVE to get her but living in town, I dont think that would go over well?

I had a GLW hen that crowed. It wasn't very often, just occasionally, and not very loud. Probably less noisy than the egg song. More like a gargled crow.

She started when she was about 2 yo, and mostly stopped by the time she was 4 yo.

My understanding is that they will do it in a hen only environment, absent a rooster.
