I hate bending for anything, especially the floor. The floor seemed so much closer when I was younger.

True for me on both counts.  Got so good at the elbow bending that it was necessary to give it up.  As far as bending ---- let's just say the old body is not what it once was.  old.gif

You can bend what ever element based on your personality

AIR: air is the element of freedom. It is a free, flowing element and you must be a kind, gentle, caring and peaceful person. Air has only one sub-element....sand. Air benders also poses the power to destroy.
EARTH: earth is a stubborn element. it is a hard one to control and it can be useful. Earth is the second most powerful element, next to fire. You are a stubborn, persist and inconvinceable person. Earth has two sub elements...... Metal and Diamond. You can only control diamond if you have bended for 30 yrs.
FIRE: Fire destroys. But it also gives life. You are a hurtful, cruel person if you control this element. You can also be a healer.( make sure you put healer or cruel when u post a answer) Fire has two sub elements..... lightning and magma
WATER: water is the giver of life. But, like fire, it can take it away. You are persistent, cool minded, peaceful and placid. You could also be destructive. Water has two sub elements..... Plant and Blood.

I'm a Air bender. Me like tornadoes:P

I guess I'd be Earth.

You are preaching to the choir my friend. When my father said to be good at a lot of things but be great at one, somehow I don't think he meant elbow bending.  I stayed 25 for 20 years. Now my elbows are straight and my back isn't.th.gif

You know bending over is a chore when you shoe shop you look for slip-ons. gig.gif

You guys are a hoot.

From reading the descriptions, I think fire suits me perfectly. Perhaps I should change my avatar. I can be both sides of it, although I don't show them both equally.

This is another example of words developing variations on a basic meaning. Where I lived for most of my life, no-one would want to be called a bender, especially a male. frow.gif

I have no problem with people using their imaginations to describe or summarise in metaphors their beliefs and claimed personal characteristics. On the other hand, it can be taken too far. Metaphors are only that and not real. To convince yourself that your metaphor is real is to limit the future development of your skills and beliefs.

I'm often amused by Young Age people who think that they've discovered something for the first time and have gone one better then members of the Middles Age or Old Age. Sweety Pies, we've all been there and done that and are still here learning even more.

Now, where did I leave my Tarot cards?

There is a little of me in each of the elements but Earth best describes me. Sort of.  Kinda like the whole left brain right brain thing, I am really both. I am just scrambled eggs I guess as I write left handed and throw right handed but not truly ambidextrous but am with some things.

You might be a air bender, Royd.big_smile.png

i figured you got the idea from that cartoon "Avatar: the Last Airbender"

They have "Earth bending" Which includes stone, metal, and sand

"Water bending" which includes ice and blood

"Fire bending" which includes lightning

and " Airbending" which includes flight and speed

Yes I watched that cartoon. I thought it was pretty amusing myself.
