Do all chickens eventully get brown eyes?

My chicks currently seem to have different eye color. Would this change as they grow up?

I don't know the answser, but would also love to know this as some of mine have brown but some of my chicks have black, hazel and light brown.

“Perhaps most persuasive [example of intelligence] is the chicken’s intriguing ability to understand that an object, when taken away and hidden, nevertheless continues to exist. This is beyond the capacity of small children.”

If I come across as sharp, I am not meaning to be sharp - just informative and to the point. I don't tolerate fools too gladly.

Mine have different eye colors. For example my rooster's eyes are bright orange, while my easter egger's are a muted brown.

Yes, different breeds have different colors and the hatchery kinds are the ones that got the colorful eyes!

A few of them would have yellow, blue, green, hazel, light brown, dark brown and grey.

This is not a matter to be worried about..I am having a different breed of chicks that have grey and green colored lenses..It's normal and it will not affect the chicks..
