It wasn't much. About as big as a half dollar. I really expected to find golf balls first the way they have messed with me. Guess golf balls are hard to come by locked inside a coop and run.

Better be sure they don't slip in a Robin's egg or something. They're so tricky, you never know!

Love those Orps!

I don't care why the chicken crossed the road, as long as mine don't!

i'm joining in anticipating eggs coming soon.  my girls are 18 wks.  one has been kinda agitated & talks to herself quite a bit.  i'm hoping that's a sign.  i never see them in the nest boxes, but i see the hay messed up.  i'm checking every day hoping to find an egg.  it will be such an exciting day.

I've been wondering, is your avitar a picture of the chicken? That could be part of the problem-hmmmm? Maybe they need a marshy nest box.
