hmm.png well my bator is supposed to hold 624 before it was modified to add 2 turners now it's more like 482 oh so why not I'm in x4. I'm really shutting the bator down in July & aug, no really I am. big_smile.png

hm. that just occurred to me. i probably won't get eggs until the end of june for this swap. which means hatching mid july.  hm...  too bad i coudln't set my june swap eggs now. LOL then i'd be all set. i was thinking of heading north for a long weekend at the end of july. maybe we can push that back a couple weeks to early august. then the chicks would at least be outside in a pen.

I like that! I told my wife I wasn't the only one that would change vacation plans around for chickens!

I am so disappointed that I will have to sit out and watch for a few months...(found myself without a rooster)....i had so much fun in the last one, and can not wait to see what hatches.  unless ofcourse someone would be interested in those store bought fertile eggs.
 

hodgepodge of breeds currently..future breeds to be...buckeye..russian orloff..cream legbar.. .bresse........possibly a duck pen ?

I'm sure some one would send you a roo. Last year I got a big handsome amer. roo from one of our members for the cost of shipping. I have a EE roo I can send you or a barred rock/ polish wink.png or silkie
