It helps that mine fell in love with some of the Langdon's gamebirds and requested that I swap for some eggs for him.  I bribed him and made him build a pen for them ahead of time as well as an extra grow-out pen for my birds.  (He would have built them for me anyway, but it was fun to be ornery about it.)

Jules/Julie - Cowgirl turned Crazy Chicken Corraller. Broody Mama. Keeper of horses, cattle, dogs & cats + 1 great hubby. Plus waaay too many birds.

The darker ones are Black copper Marans. the others , well lets see, I have a big black and grey rooster that is a cross of EE or Ameracauna with 5 toes, and I also have another mixed one that looks like a Bard Rock but not, I also have two Silkie roosters in the pen at night. The Hens are EE, light Brahmas, Buff Brahmas, RIR, Ameraucana, then some mixed ones.
