Sorry everyone is having issues.  I'm praying the heat isn't too hard on us this weekend.

On other notes, when is the July swap opening up?

I do have a big run already just fencing but with the electric netting I at least can move them to fresh grass/forage every couple of days.

Has anyone used this? Where is the best deal to get some and does it work? Any tips? Thanks

I have it.  It works well, but my Seabrights and chicks can go straight through it.  I got mine as a kit from Preimer.  if you already have a charger sometimes Kenecove has good deals.  Get the 48"  with double spikes.

I'm waiting until everybody has either received eggs or I hear from the one getting eggs that arrangements that are acceptable to them have been made.

I also have only heard from 5 or 6 of you as to how we want to swap this month, as normal or with fewer catagories and getting eggs from somebody closer (although my eggs from across the country have a lot less travel time because they are flown, not put in the back of a truck)

Since I'm a visual person, I made a poll to see what we want for catagories. If you are participating in the July swap, pretty please vote. Majority rules. I will look at the results Sunday morning and make my decision.

Is anybody else not getting all of their notifications?

I haven't been able to get my notifications since the new site format....I've made sure my subscriptions are set to instant and contacted them several times but all thay say is that my aol considers this sites mail as spam and blocks it....my spam settings are set to off by the way...and I get plenty of spam mail without problem...always got my notifications before the change too...so I have to come here and check to see if I missed anything...My PM here works fine though...seem to get all my PMs here...but there was one exception to that?

Welcome to the Zoo!  2 Morgans, 2 Minis, 1 Standard Poodle, 3 cats, 3 pet birds and the chickens.

Dorkings and bantam Cochins mostly, with a few others here and there.

And of course, my wonderful Hubby, who puts up with me and keeps me in check when I start to get crazy.

Stupid question, how do I check air cells before I  incubate?
