Ok... today I got 2 batches of eggs....

The first  was a batch of 12... none were broken and they were labeled (French Black Copper Maran) - these came from (Milner, GA.)

The second was a batch of 13... one was smooshed and leaking all over the contents of the box... no idea what these are but they are light brown eggs - these came from (Last Name Morris - Yoncalla, OR.)

It would be nice to get a little insight into what the last batch are. Thanks so much! thumbsup.gif

I got a set of bantam eggs from Caroline Gallow today.  Box had a huge ding in the corner, but only one egg cracked. I'll let these sit  to unscramble, I think. Nice packing job to save the  eggs!

They are marked b and Mo, what are they?

I got my eggs today, WOW when you said to make a lot of room you were not kidding. Thank you Lori S. I have never hatched duck eggs befor, what do I need to do, anything different from chickens. I do know that the guineas and ducks take 28 days. Only one got cracked but not the giant one. Will set them tomorrow.

I've hatched my ducks along with my chickens. The did fine, although they do like a higher humidity. If the duck eggs are Muskovey they take 35 days. I'm not sure what kind MnFeralKitty has. Guinea do like to hatch a few days early quite often. Mine usually like hatching on day 25.
