Would a Silkie x White star be a good layer AND go broody?

It would be handy to have a few 'Silk stars' big_smile.png. And when I say good layer, I mean with out going broody. So, if she didnt go broody for 3 weeks, she would lay 18-20 eggs.

Someone on here had a thread about silky/leghorn crosses that they had bred for several generations.  They were supposed to be acceptable layers and excellent broody hens.
