Chicken Names- whats your chickens name? - Page 93

In addition to my existing flock, I now have another rooster, Pittsburgh - The name had been given to him by the breeder, and I didn't want to change it :) His 3 game hens we dubbed Charlotte, Savannah, and Cherokee (figured to keep the city-name-theme going :)

Simple Country Gal who loves Jesus. First-Time flock owner!! Elvis (BCMs Rooster) Bessie, Lulu, Belle, Lucy (Game) Mabel, Mildred, Nellie (BCMs) Coco (Ameracauna/BCMs) Lizzie (Blue Ameracauna) Penny (RIR mix) Socks & Midnight (The cats) + 4 Kittens + Free-range gamefowl: Savannah

We brought home ten silkie chicks about a month ago and the kids have given them non-gender specific names while guess who's going to turn out to be what.  Here's hoping I don't end up with a flock full of roos who don't get along because my children will not let me rehome any of them. :) The names are:

Cottonball (white)

Flame (buff)

Lou (buff)

Peep (buff)

Flee (buff, didn't make it poor little guy)

Blizzard (splash)

Snow (splash)

Thunder (splash)

Lightening (splash)

and ....

Professor Fluffles (partridge-colored chick who's getting solid black feathers now)

Elizabeth (white Pekin Bantam)

Millie (Lavender Pekin Bantam)

Betty (Mottled Pekin Bantam)

Tilly (Black Pekin Bantam with silver collar)

These are my new girlies. I am also getting some little RIR bantams in the next couple of weeks.

I'm not sure what breeds my hens are but their names are Isabel (the grey one), Pricilla (fawn colored), and Starbright (black with white speckles). My grandgirls helped name them =)

Don't always SAY what you know, but always KNOW what you say.

Owner of a wonderful willing hubby , 1 son, 1 daughter, 2 grandgirls , 1 chiweenie, 1 Jack Russel terrior, and 3 hens.

I love BYC
