At my in-laws place. Seeing some gorgeous birds (Baltimore orioles and grosbeaks?) that we don't have in Arkansas...

I'm sure my in-laws will think I've lost my mind if I go out and start digging up dandelions...
Everyone here views them as obnoxious weeds... In all seriousness, I'd have to find a good spot where they wouldn't care about a hole in the ground... Maybe from the edges of the property or in the woods even.
I've never seen a rose breasted grosbeak drinking the hummingbird nectar. My orioles go for it occasionally, but prefer grape jelly and orange halves.
We had an orioles come through a couple of years ago. Hawk blew it right out of the sky. All that was left was a poof of orange feathers floating to the ground. I guess that's what happens when you wear a high visibility vest in a camo world.

Haven’t been here in a while. I did a mini harvest a few days ago. Was extremely fun. Goats enjoyed some of the garden scraps.
Maybe the wind will make them strongI was feeling pretty down when we planted my tomatoes a couple days ago. The wind keeps whipping them around everyday and I ran out of clear plastic to wrap them with and I have no money to buy more right now.
I have covers for my peppers.
By the way. I cut up and freeze Jalapeños so that I can have some all year. (I just ran out, so grow peppers, grow!)
I figured out why my frog wasn’t working. Also, the jalapeños seem to have recovered from their abuse, yay!

I reseeded some Cosmos in the bird bath planter. & added welded wire across the top to keep the stupid squirrels out. I put all the pointy ends up hoping to spear one of those little b@*&%@# when they jump up!
Watered some things, we won't be seeing any rain for the week.
That's about all.

More garden cleanup . Looked for morel mushrooms and found 2 . I couldn't go far But I went . 
Seeds should arrive this week . Planted the flowers I bought Saturday .
