Beautiful tomatoes!
What didI I do in the garden this morning? Well...
Usually hubby sends flowers when he's working on the road. Today texted me that a guy would be delivering "something" this morning and to write him a check. I got 5 yards of BS this morning! (manure, that is!)

Love those tomatoes!! Let's see, I tied up some vines, then I got a rash roll.png I picked a few beans and an overlarge zuchinni...I like 'em better when they are little..plus I tied up some sunflowers, and picked a few cherry tomatoes, and admired the tiny yellow crookneck squash, they are only about 3" now!! !! Am I supposed to wait until the entire bunch of cherry tomatoes is ripe, then pick it? I've been just taking a few at a time as they become ripe! I'm new to gardening! The best part was watching my 3 little ladies wander and forage around in a new area!!

Use them as they ripen. If you wait, the ones that ripen first will become over ripe or rotten. Enjoy.

Got 3 cukes, a spaghetti squash, a yellow squash, a big huge pot of green pole beans and the last of the pea's that are looking worse for wear.

Poor peas. I really have to say for the space and the amount you get in return it's rubbish. I got enough pea's for one dinner. But it took up half a bed to grow them.

I did stagger plant but it seems to not have worked. Perhaps the heat.

Spinach is the same for me. I cannot grow spinach for the life of me! Its infuriating. I had a whole row planted. Our beds are raised beds with drip lines run so no water problems.

All I got for spinach was this sad little handful.  Go figure.

I am anxiously awaiting my chicks becomming my weeders wink.png

I planted some peas this year, but something is eating them!! Every day a few more plants are gone, just gone, not nibbled!! It's weird. This is the first year I've ventured beyond tomatoes, zuchinni and herbs! My pumpkin vines are looking nice though!! All I did today was water and remove 3 snails!

I dug up our garlic, onions and shallots.  The Costco white garlic did okay, making small but usable heads, it was the first one up by weeks.  The $$$ white garlic we bought at the feed store did a bit better, and the $$$ purple garlic also from the feed store did the best

Our shallots did okay, considering they were pretty much self seeded

And the onions?  Well seems the gopher said they were wonderful!

And I planted my 4 new roses, only I thought I had bought two of one kind and a different tag fell off the bottom of the bush...oh well!
