I got some new ducks today and I am wondering what kind they are. I know they are at least part mallard because of the single eye stripe on all the ducklings. The white one appears to be a Welsh Harlequin. They all fly. Their former owner said the white one had a brown sister. They hatched their own ducklings. The little ducklings belong the the white one and the bigger ducklings belong to the brown one. You can't really see the little ducklings in the pictures. I will try to get some better pictures tonight.

they are probably all mutt ducks mixed with either mallards or maybe even rouens .
unless you know exactly what breeds they have and if they kept the seperate you wont know for sure.
and just because the duck has the color of a certain breed does not mean thats what the duck is

I just want a general idea of what they are. They don't know what breed/breeds they are. She said they lay lots of eggs, and they are the same size as my KC ducks. I got better pictures but they don't want to post. I will try again later.

they are mutt ducks.
mixed breed.
no way to know what they are.
many breed can be mised togather and produce a simple gray bird.
or a muttle white bird.
there is no way to know the breeeds

I think your ducks are beautiful, Congrats on getting them, if they fly and you don't want to lose them I'd suggest you clip on wing, you can go on line and Metzers web site shows just how to do it. Duck eggs are awesome for baking and eating, please post back and let us know how they are doing and of course more pics.. AND
