having empty nest syndrome

ok so the other day i was going though the pics of my chicks from the day i brought them home untill today and then i see all this little new hatchling pics on here and its taking every fiber of my being not to go get new babies my coop is big enough for more but thats for next year or following year to add to my flock but wow major empty nest syndorm any one else suffering

My city farm:

4 Chickens 1 Buff Orpington Cheerio Rose, 2 Exchequer Leg Horn Lilly & Phoenix and 1 Amber star mix Little Bit.

3 rats Summer, Winter and Spring

3 Dogs: Lab Honey bear, Samoyed Duke, Pit mix Candii

3 cats: Snickers, Kit Kat, Zelda

1 desert turtle Harry

And a whole lot of fish in the fish tank

3 Dogs: Lab Honey bear, Samoyed Duke, Pit mix Candii

3 cats: Snickers, Kit Kat, Zelda

1 desert turtle Harry

And a whole lot of fish in the fish tank

I know right?  You see all these precious babies around and they are sooo adorable!  And the joy of watching them grow and so wonderful!  I know I will miss my babies when they get to the age that they dont really need "mommy" any more hit.gif

 

Its going to take soo much effort not to go get more babies!!!! gig.gif

1 Blue JG and 1 Black JG, 1 black Americauna, 1 penciled Americauna, 1 Penciled Rock.  1 Cornish chick, 5 Sussex, 8 mix chicks, and one wild kitty!  

 

10 meaties on the way, 2 red layers and 10 in the incubator.  Chicken Math strikes again! 

 

The Rooster may crow, but it is the Hen that delivers the goods!

mine aere getting more and more independant now they only need me if a scary noise happens or the wind tryes to blow them away. last night before bed time they deceded they where going to explore other parts of the yard i have not intraducded them to yet on there own. My babys are not needing me as much anymore hit.gif. but 2 of them still love to cuddle with mommylove.gif. but oh its taking everything not to go get me some new baby chicks.
