Thank you everyone! We are so happy with our coop and especially our sweet chickens!

My husband, daughter and I have a Rhode Island Red (Blue), Buff Orpington (Harriet), Barred Rock (Nelly), Serama (Phyllis) and 2 silkies, white (Aretha) and blue (Georgia). We also share our world with a Great Dane (Molly), a Pitbull mix (Clyde) and a Chihuahua (Choochie), 3 cats (Marley, Eeyore and Schnitzel), 3 hermit crabs and 3 fish.

Looks like a summer cottage at the lake.  The rest of the chickens on the block will be jealous.

Do you mind me asking for the coop designs and where you bought your chickens? By the way, Beautiful coop.

Beautiful coop! We just started with chicken this summer and got our first eggs this weekend. You are right - so fun! Enjoy!

We have a very similar story to yours. I'll post pics of our coop this weekend. I do have a question. We have 3 hens after finding out 3 of our original 6 were boys! So now we have 1 year old Maggie, Dumplin and sweet tea. We have had wonderful joy and success with our ladies. I have ordered 3 new hens which will arrive in March. When you added your new hens what was the age difference and how did you introduce them? I do have our smaller original coop I could keep the chicks in until they are 4 or 5 months. Did you have any issues with your original hens accepting the new hens? Thanks!
