i live in a cottage on 1 acre with my 3 children,3 dogs,cat,1 golden silkie breeding pair,a cuckoo maran, an rir, a white leghorn,6 barnevelder chicks,2 rir chicks and 3 light sussex chicks! the madness started at xmas when i got my kids three hens as a present and now we're obsessed! they live in a pen at the moment (except for the chicks,they're in a brooder in the kitchen!) but am hoping to begin free ranging in the next week
