I am really liking my Cochin Mixes, I just wish I had more room for a few of these barnie.gif

This is one of my favorite boys, he is a Cochin X Faverolles.

 

This is one of the Cochin X Houdan Mixes

 

 

Also really love this guy Cochin X TetraTint, he has his fathers eyes, always stuck at stink eye gig.gif

 

 

And this little girl is so sweet, Cochin X Barred Rock and so petite compared to her brothers

Was the barred rock the mother on the last one? LOL @ the houdan cross!

Yes, the mother was the barred rock. The one pictured has two brothers, one black barred and one blue barred. The blue barred is gorgeous too. I really like these cochin X barred rock crosses,  I love the barred fuzzy legs!

 

Here is her blue barred brother, picture doesn't do him justice

that one black gamefowl mix looks like a crow :) I think they're AWESOME!

i only have mixes. my daughter and i just love our girls/boys. she wants them for eggs and eventually sell some eggs/chicks. i would be nothing but honest about them all being mixes. i enjoy seeing all the different varieties in the mixes. my grandpa used to breed all kinds of different breeds together, he was very well known in KS for doing the such. we haven't gotten any eggs yet but she and i both are excited about the different varieties in the egg colors that we will get. i will post some pics of all of our girls/boys.

 

who knows one day we might want to have purebreds, but right now we are happy with our mutts love.gif

I have hatching eggs available in many different breeds (waterfowl, turkey's, quail, some peafowl) they are varied BUT pure. Need to give me a few days to get fresh eggs.
I also have hatching eggs from my layer flock that are made up of many different breeds.
I ship please specify which method you prefer.
Chicks are $3.00 each-LOCAL PICK UP ONLY.

Well, by Wednesday I should have some  D'Uccles x Langshans. I'm told they will probably be black with heavily feathered feet. Tiny, black, and furry should be cute. I'll post some pics.
