At what age do poults lose their fuzz and get naked heads and necks?

How old are Toms when they start gobbling?

Heads go bald around 6 weeks old.  I don't recalll when gobbling starts.   Pretty young though.  Certainly by three months you can get a flock gobblng pretty good.

Chickens were fun...until I got turkeys!

My RB are 6 weeks old now and have lost most of there fuzz on there heads and snoods are getting longer and there waddle under there beaks are more pronounced and heads are turning red and the carbuncles are coming in the wort looking things near the base of the neck.

every once in awhile I will hear a turkey try to gobble its funny sounding its like a teen ager trying to get there voice LOL.

Sigh, I wish they would keep their fuzz.
