What beautiful birds you have! Finches have the most colorful sheen to the feathers. Especially when you have a cage full of exotic colors, all dancing around the cage perch to perch. Gorgeous!

Wow!  I think your set up is great!  I think your finches are pretty darn lucky!  I do not have finches (chickens here) but after seeing your set up, maybe its time to start some finch research.  Thanks for posting your beautiful pics!

I'm gonna hazard a guess and say this is a zebra finch. What is the name of this coloring?

I don't think that's a zebra finch. I can't remember what kind it is, though.

Here are my finches (in the previous post).  We have 2 gouldians, 2 green singers, 2 societies, and one cordon bleu (used to have two but one escaped and a cat got it :( )

Here is our cage~ we built it!  It looks pretty much the same now but it has a really nice background picture. It makes a huge difference.

Here are the two cordon bleus dancing and singing ;)

That looks lovely, but how do they get air in there to breath?  Also the poor finches must be scared seeing those cats watching them!

the top is open (grated) and there are doors and a drawer with vents.  This was the first day we had the cage~ the finches were a novelty.  The cats don't watch them anymore :)
