I have a pair of golden pheasant chicks about 3 days old and one just doesn't stop pecking the other one's eyes. It deliberately goes for it if I move it to another part of the brooder. I have put marbles in and soft toys to distract him, but nothing seems to be working. I don't want to separate them because they are the only two chicks I have at the moment and they do like being together. I'm hoping this is something they will grow out of but for now the bullied chick is really being roughed around. I'll go to check on them sometimes and he'll sit there with the pecked eye(s) shut and doesn't really want to open them. Can't say I blame him. It's the older chick (by a day) picking on the younger chick.
And and all advice would be a great help!
